Our Mission: Healing and helping people in need through the ministry of Jesus Christ.

Through the centuries, Christian people have formed organizations to serve those in society who are struggling, less fortunate, hurting, lonely, or underserved. Christian Family Solutions (CFS) began to do just that in 1965.

Over the decades, our programs and services have changed, grown, and adapted with the changing needs of the world around us. Today, we are a vibrant ministry focusing on Counseling Care & Services.

CFS supports and cares for those who are most vulnerable in our society. We meet their needs in a caring and compassionate way, with excellence. With this approach, our work reflects the ministry of Jesus Christ.

Beautiful. Accessible. Hymntune based Music.

Fifteen years ago, Valerie needed a way to get her music published as fast as she could write them. Publishing companies loved her music but could not print books as fast as she could write. It was then that she and her husband decided to start Floeter Music as a way to get her songs out to church musicians. A few months after that decision 15 years ago, she published her first Floeter Music book, and now has over 65 books published!

WCRIS (Wisconsin Council of Religious and Independent Schools) is a non-profit, nonpartisan, 501(c)(3) membership association, serving over 100,000 K-12 students across 600 Catholic, Lutheran, Christian, Seventh Day Adventist, and independent schools in Wisconsin. Originating as the Wisconsin Association of Nonpublic Schools in 1974 and later renamed in 2000, WCRIS emerged from a collective effort by private school leaders advocating for equitable busing in the 1960s. As Wisconsin’s chapter of the Council for American Private Education (CAPE), WCRIS advocates for private schools' participation in government programs, defends schools' independence, promotes equity and inclusion, and supports professional development for educators. Upholding core values of educational integrity, equitable opportunity for all children, and the tradition of independent school missions, WCRIS emphasizes the importance of private education in American history and its role in offering choices to parents for their children's education. The organization highlights that about 10% of Wisconsin's K-12 students attend private schools, with WCRIS schools enrolling over 80% of these students and employing more than 6,000 teachers, underscoring the significant financial impact private schools have on state and local budgets.

Dust & Breath

Dust and breath are the ingredients of a human being, according to Genesis 2:7, where Moses tells us, “Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.” Throughout the pages of his Word, God reminds us of how highly he values us because of the breath of life he gave us. He also tells us how fleeting our life has become because of sin and how we are doomed to return to the dust from which we came. God gives us these reminders in order to move us to wonder at the love God shows us in sending his Son to become a human being like us, with dust and breath, in order to rescue us from the doom of our sins.

Dust and Breath is a devotional podcast about the people of the Bible. No matter how many or how few there are, in the details of the life of each human character of God’s story we see God’s fingerprints in the dust and his love in each breath. We see ourselves and we see Jesus.

During each season, a short devotion will be released every weekday. You can find our archive of devotions at www.dustandbreathpod.buzzsprout.com.

Follow on Facebook @dustandbreathpod and on Twitter @dustbreathpod, or send an email to dustandbreathpod@gmail.com.

Dust and Breath is written and produced by Pastor Ethan Cherney. Ethan graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in 2013. He served at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Green Bay, WI, for five years before accepting a call to serve Our Savior Lutheran Church in Pomona, California.

Dust and Breath began as his practice for personal devotions, which he decided to start recording as a podcast when a global pandemic forced many churches to look for ways to stay connected online. Hearing from people who have found comfort and encouragement from these devotions has been one of the most cherished experiences of his ministry.

Measured Moms

The Measured Mom, founded by Anna Geiger, M.Ed., in 2013, is a comprehensive resource designed to empower PreK-third grade educators by demystifying the science of reading. With the goal of helping educators effectively meet the diverse needs of their students, the website offers a wealth of educational blog posts, podcast episodes, and high-quality, low-preparation teaching resources. Anna Geiger, who serves as the CEO, brings a rich background in education to the platform, holding a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Education, along with certifications in Orton-Gillingham and a Science of Reading graduate certificate from Mount St. Joseph University. The inception of The Measured Mom was motivated by Geiger's personal experiences with the exhaustive demands of teaching and lesson preparation. Having taught 1st through 5th grade before leaving the classroom to raise her six children, Geiger aims to provide educators with easy-prep, engaging resources that make learning enjoyable for students. The Measured Mom stands as a solution to the common challenges educators face, such as extensive search for perfect activities and the overwhelming time spent on lesson prep, striving to make teaching more efficient and fulfilling.
